Lisa Lillie, PhD studied voice at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities before ultimately pursuing an academic career in history. She has competed in vocal competitions around the United States and has appeared in stage and workshop productions of Les Contes d'Hoffman (Jacques Offenbach), La Cenerentola (Goachino Rossini), and Le Nozze di Figaro (W.A. Mozart) at the University of Minnesota. While conducting doctoral research in Italy, she was invited by the Accademia degli Avvalorati to solo at six public concerts in Tuscany. She recently served as Adjunct Professor of Music (Voice) at Maryville University in St. Louis and conducts private lessons. She is currently the Director of Undergraduate Studies in History and Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana.
